Chennai Express (2013) was the first collaboration between director Rohit Shetty and the “King of Bollywood romance” Shah Rukh Khan. Originally titled “Ready Steady Po,” Chennai Express broke several box office records in India as well as overseas. It was the quickest film to cross the coveted 100 crore or 1 billion rupees mark in India.
