Chennai Express (2013) was the first collaboration between director Rohit Shetty and the “King of Bollywood romance” Shah Rukh Khan. Originally titled “Ready Steady Po,” Chennai Express broke several box office records in India as well as overseas. It was the quickest film to cross the coveted 100 crore or 1 billion rupees mark in India.
Chennai Express (2013) surpassed 3 Idiots to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide at the time of its release. During paid previews in the UK, Chennai Express collected more than any in the first day of a Bollywood film in the UK, making this Shah Rukh Khan movie poster, highly collectible!
