Hrithik Roshan poster of the Hindi movie Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) for sale.
This is an actual surviving Hrithik Roshan poster of the 2003 Hindi movie Koi… Mil Gaya that featured the dancing star of Bollywood in the lead role opposite actress Preity Zinta.
Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2003), this glossy Hrithik Roshan movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, Koi… Mil Gaya received numerous awards, most notably the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues, The Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor awards at both Filmfare as well as Screen. Koi… Mil Gaya was the first installment in the very successful Krrish trilogy, making this Hrithik Roshan poster highly collectible!
Koi… Mil Gaya is said to be inspired from Satyajit Ray’s The Alien, a story which is largely believed to have inspired the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial as well.
Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta are seen seated arm in arm romantically gazing into each others eyes with smiles on their faces. The background of this Koi Mil Gaya film poster features a brilliant starry sky. An alien spaceship is seen hovering above them in the night sky. The top of this Preity Zinta poster announces “you are not alone …” on the top giving away the extra terrestrial theme of the film.
Partially shot in Canada, Koi… Mil Gaya is believed to be the first Bollywood film in which animatronics were used to film the alien called “Jadoo.” The film’s soundtrack, composed by Rajesh Roshan, became popular at the time of the film’s release. Hrithik Roshan’s dance in the song “Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala” is fondly remembered till today. His role of a mentally-challenged person in the film won him the praise of fans and critics alike.
