Raajneeti movie poster for sale.
Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood movie poster of the 2010 Hindi political drama co-written, produced and directed by Prakash Jha. The film starred an ensemble cast comprising Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Sarah Thompson and Naseeruddin Shah.
Shot extensively in Bhopal, Raajneeti (2010) was inspired from the most revered Hindu epic of the Mahabharata. It told the story of two warring political families. Katrina Kaif’s character was loosely modeled along real life political figure Sonia Gandhi, with critics praising her performance. The film was a blockbuster hit, making this Katrina Kaif poster, highly collectible!
Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2010), this Raajneeti movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Actress Katrina Kaif is seen at the bottom in a full length still photo in this original Bollywood poster. Appearing with folded hands and wearing a dupatta draped over her head, the actress is seen towering above a sea of people at a political rally. Close up photos of the rest of the cast, namely Manoj Bajpayee, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Sarah Thompson, Arjun Rampal, Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah are seen from left to right respectively on the top of this Raajneeti movie poster.
Typography used in this Raajneeti movie poster is completely in English. The subtitle of the film, “Politics … and Beyond” is seen at the bottom. The release date of the film, “In Cinemas 4th June,” appears on the bottom left.
The background score was composed by Wayne Sharpe while the soundtrack album was composed by Wayne Sharpe, Shantanu Moitra, Pritam and Aadesh Shrivastava. Two songs from the film, “Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si” sung by Mohit Chauhan & Antara Mitra and “Mora Piya” sung by Aadesh Shrivastava & Kavita Seth became blockbuster hits at the time of the film’s release.
