Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 1970 Hindi film directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao that starred Parikshat Sahni (credited as Ajay Sahni) opposite Sharada in lead roles.

Produced by Gemini pictures, Samaj Ko Badal Dalo (1970) was a remake of the Malayalam film Thulabharam (1968). It featured a dramatic story of communism v/s capitalism set within the framework of a textile mill.

Samaj Ko Badal Dalo (1970) also featured Prem Chopra, Nazir Hussain, Pran, Mehmood, Aruna Irani, Shammi, Mukri, Kanhaiyalal, C.S. Dubey, Dhumal, Ram Avtar, Manmohan Krishna, Shammi and David in supporting roles.

Printed and circulated during the milestone 2nd week run of the film in the early 1970s, this vintage black and white movie poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This original Samaj Ko Badal Dalo movie poster features black and white still photos of three actors from the film. Parikshat Sahni is seen pointing animatedly in the center. Actress Sharada and comedian Mehmood appear on his either side.

Set against a single colored blue background, lettering appears in stunning yellow typography in both Devanagari Hindi as well as in English. The iconic Gemini pictures “trumpets” logo is seen on the bottom right of this vintage black and white movie poster. The words “Eastman Color” appear at the center and the milestone “2nd Week” stamp is seen on the top of this Bollywood poster.
