This is an actual surviving original vintage Bollywood poster of the old 1966 Hindi romance produced and directed by J.B.H. Wadia under the “Wadia Brothers” production banner.

Tasveer starred Kalpana, Feroz Khan and Helen in key roles. Sajjan, Nazir Hussain, Lalita Pawar, Raj Mehra, Rajendra Nath and Sabina played supporting roles in the film.

The romance drama was based on the story of a man falling in love with a woman on seeing her hand painted canvas portrait.

Printed and circulated during the theatrical run of the movie (somewhere in 1966), this hand drawn film poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This Tasveer movie poster was originally hand painted on canvas by a poster art studio in Bombay. A stunning pop art style illustration of lead actors Kalpana and Feroz Khan gazing passionately into each other’s eyes is seen prominently in this hand drawn film poster.

A full figure rendition in smaller size of actress Helen is seen alongside. Bright eccentric colors are used in the faces as well as background, giving the poster a stunning appearance. Trees are seen in a distance in this beautiful hand drawn film poster for sale.
