This is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 2023 Hindi crime drama co-written, edited and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga that starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani under the T-Series banner, Animal (2023) also starred Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi and Saloni Batra in supporting roles.

Animal is a pioneering film in Indian cinema. It is one of the longest Indian films ever made, with a total runtime of 201 minutes. A massive commercial and critical success, Animal (2023) broke all box office records becoming the highest grossing A-rated Indian film ever.

For his stellar performance in the film, Ranbir Kapoor won Best Actor award at the 69th Filmfare Awards. Animal (2023) is the highest grossing film of Ranbir Kapoor’s film career. The film hold’s the coveted spot of being the second highest grossing Hindi film in India, making this Animal poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2023), this Ranbir Kapoor poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This original Bollywood poster features a stunning photograph of a wounded Ranbir Kapoor carrying an axe under his arm and lighting up a cigarette with a lighter. The title of the film is seen in a solid gold font with a beautiful gold motif border encasing the credits around it. Ranbir Kapoor is introduced as “Superstar.”

This rare original Bollywood poster openly shows the protagonist smoking, with the statutory warning, i.e. “Smoking is injurious to health” seen in vertical typography on the bottom left in a very small font.

The pan India multilingual release of the film is mentioned in the bottom as “Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada” in their respective fonts. Corporate logos of the film’s streaming and digital partners are shown at the bottom of this Animal poster.

The soundtrack album of Animal (2023) was composed by eleven composers in total, including legends like A.R. Rahman, Ajay-Atul and Pritam.
