This is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 2001 Hindi crime drama directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Chandni Bar (2001) starred Tabu and Atul Kulkarni in lead roles. Ananya Khare, Rajpal Yadav, Minakshi Sahani and Vishal Thakkar played supporting roles in the film.

Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2001), this Chandni Bar movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Chandni Bar was a fictionalized story inspired by the grim realities of dance bars, prostitution and the criminal underworld in Mumbai.
