Featured here is an actual surviving original vintage Bollywood poster of the 1964 Hindi drama directed by P. Wagle that starred Ranjan and Nasreen in key roles.

Produced by R.S. Mistry and released under the Shri Ganesh Chitra banner, Haqdaar (1964) also starred Shyam Kumar, Babu Raje Prakash, Ratna Mala and Shri Bhagwan in supporting roles.

Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1964), this vintage Bollywood poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This Haqdaar poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by a Bollywood poster design studio in Bombay. The printed signature of Bollywood poster painter Zafar is seen on the bottom left.

Two stunning close ups of actors Ranjan on the left and Shyam Kumar on the right are seen illustrated prominently on the top of this old Bollywood poster. The symmetrical faces are seen divided by a sword that stretches from the top to the bottom, splitting the poster into two parts.

Actress Nasreen is seen in a full length hand painted rendition at the bottom of this sword movie poster. She is depicted wearing a low cut revealing blouse in a suggestive pose, lying down.

A war scene is depicted in another illustration on the right, with actor Ranjan seen on a horse leading an army behind him to battle. A woman is seen lying down, gesturing for him to stop.

The background used on the top is a soothing gradient of sky blue that fades into minimal white at the bottom. This two tone split makes the artwork stand out in sharp contrast in this vintage sword movie poster.

Typography used in this original Haqdaar movie poster is entirely in English, with only a translation of the title seen in both Devanagari Hindi as well as Urdu at the bottom. The main English title on the top is seen in a striking font in yellow, whereas the Devanagari Hindi title at the bottom appears in blood red.

The soundtrack album of Haqdaar (1964) was composed by Bulo Chandiram Ramchandani (Bulo C. Rani).
