Pardes movie poster for sale! Featured here is a rare original Shahrukh Khan poster of the hit Hindi film Pardes (1997).

This is an actual surviving Bollywood poster of the hit musical Hindi film Pardes that was directed by Subhash Ghai. The film featured “King Khan” superstar Shahrukh Khan in the lead role opposite actress Mahima Chaudary who made her debut in Pardes. Amrish Puri, Apurva Agnihotri, Alok Nath and Himani Shivpuri played supporting roles in the film.

Pardes is widely regarded as one of the first major Bollywood movies to have a successful run in USA, making this Shahrukh Khan poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film (somewhere in 1997), this Shahrukh Khan poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This Pardes movie poster features superstar Shahrukh Khan prominently on the top in a stunning close up. He is seen wearing his trademark hat. Newcomer Mahima Chaudary is seen in a smaller photographic still at the bottom in a dancing pose.

Pardes was a hit at the box office and won Mahima Chaudary the Best Newcomer Award for her performance. The film was subsequently remade in Telugu as Pelli Kanuka (1998).

The soundtrack of the film composed by Nadeem Shravan comprises gems such as “I Love My India,” “Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain,” “Yeh Dil Deewana,” and “Meri Mehbooba” which are fondly remembered and played till date.
