Unreleased Bollywood movies poster for sale: Meri Qurbani (Dushmanee).
Featured here is an original vintage Bollywood poster of the old Hindi action drama written and directed by Dinesh Ramnesh that starred Ashok Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Mehra and Moushumi Chatterjee in key roles.
Produced by K.G. Moti and presented by EM.M. Movie, Meri Qurbani (Dushmanee) also featured Asrani, Madan Puri, Dina Pathak, Birbal, Jugnu, Guddi, Mohan Sherry, Jagdish Raj, Bob Christo and Ranjeet in supporting roles, while Yogita Bali made a guest appearance in the film.
Meri Qurbani, previously titled as Dushmanee, told the story of two friends called Rajasaheb and Charandas who become rival gangsters and are in love with the same woman.
Printed and circulated prior to the intended release of the film in theaters (somewhere in the late 1970s), this unreleased Bollywood movies poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This Meri Qurbani poster was originally designed using photographic collage techniques by Bombay-based Bollywood poster artist Vishnu. A stunning arrangement of still photographs of the two friends turned rivals Shatrughan Sinha and Vinod Mehra is seen twice. Moushumi Chatterjee appears in between the two on the top center, suggesting the love triangle plot of the film. Ranjeet is seen holding a pistol at the center of this unreleased Bollywood movies poster.
A pleasing blue sky background is seen on the top of this old Bollywood poster. Typography used in this old Dushmanee poster is primarily in English, with the title translated to Devanagari Hindi as well on the top left. The main English title appears in a 3D font in yellow, with a black border against a red background.
The soundtrack album of Meri Qurbani (Dushmanee) was composed by hit duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal, while lyrics were written by Sahir Ludhianvi and Asad Bhopali.
